CNC EDM WIRECUT OPERATOR

Specialist needs to operate CNC EDM machines to manufacture precision components and parts. To accomplish work requirements, the specialist will need to interpret engineering drawings & specifications, set up requirements including preparing setup sheet, fixtures, and tool clamping system to determine the right program to achieve dimensions and tolerances for the work order. Another critical aspect of the job involves detecting faults and making adjustments on machines to ensure that they operate smoothly; and being able to select, align and secure holding fixtures, accessories and materials. Good team mate to work effectively in a team would be beneficial for this role.
