CNC Turner Programmer

We are working with a well developed company who have a focused manufacturing capability based on CNC technology. In addition to traditional standalone machining centres, they have 6 sliding head CNC lathes that allow complete production of finished components from raw bar material. We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner Programmer to join them in their facility in Rotherham.

Key skills required

• Over 8 years of experience in turning
• Experience of setting and operating CNC machines
• Hands‑on programming experience
• Ability to write programs from drawings – at a high level of competence
• Experience of Fanuc controls
• Suitable for a CNC Turner with medium to high volume engineering background
• Experience cutting a variety of materials – from basic carbon plate, Nicol, duplex, etc.
• Ideally a time‑served apprentice with a wide range of engineering experienc...
