Commercial Manager/National Sales Manager

Our shipping Client, based in Durban, is looking for a Commercial Manager/National Sales Manager to join their team.

The successful incumbent's main objective will be to increase sales performance of agencies, identify all development opportunities and organise and manage sales teams to develop & improve client portfolio.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop commercial activities and assist in defining the commercial strategy in accordance with the objectives/targets set by the group.
• Set up, organise and drive sales teams to follow up on the customer portfolio and identify growth opportunities within the area.
• Set the objectives of local teams and monitor sales performance.
• Ensure the proper use of marketing tools by your teams.
• Identify competition and potential customers.
• Report weekly to the CCO/DRO and Head Office Lines/Commercial teams.
