Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare food in accordance with portion and quality standards specified in recipes.
- Assist department head in controlling and monitoring departmental costs to ensure performance against budget.
- Provide support on daily operations and mise en place.
- Establish and maintain effective employee working relationships.
- Attend and participate in training sessions as scheduled.
- Ensure that all relevant buffet/display set‑ups are prepared ahead of guest arrival and in adherence with hotel standards.
- Communicate politely and display courtesy to guests and internal customers.
- Assist with the preparation, presentation, decoration and storage of dishes.
- Prepare in advance food, beverage, material and equipment needed for the service.
- Clean and reset working area.
- Ensure uniforms are always clean and tidy.
