Control Systems Engineer

Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a manufacturing client in the Chattanooga, TN area to find a full-time Controls Engineer to design, program, and support industrial automation and control systems.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
+ Support automation projects: design, installation, commissioning, startup
+ Develop electrical schematics, control logic, and documentation
+ Diagnose equipment issues; optimize system performance
+ Coordinate with vendors, integrators, and internal teams
+ Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards
+ Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives

**Qualifications**

+ BS in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field
+ Experience with PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
+ HMI/SCADA programming experience
