Description
We are looking for an experienced Controller to support a nonprofit organization in Washington, District of Columbia. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for a finance leader who can provide strong oversight of accounting operations, strengthen financial controls, and guide an accurate close and reporting process. The role will play a key part in maintaining reliable financial records, supporting compliance obligations, and partnering with stakeholders on core financial matters.


Responsibilities:

• Direct the month-end and year-end close cycle, ensuring financial activity is recorded accurately and completed within established deadlines.

• Oversee reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and investigate variances to maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
