Controls Engineer

ur client, who are a global manufacturing firm, are seeking a talented Controls Engineer to design, develop and deliver cutting-edge control systems for a wide range of equipment - from manufacturing and assembly machines to robot cells and beyond.

What you'll be doing

• Designing controls for state-of-the-art automation equipment.
• Producing electrical drawings, parts lists, safety assessments and documentation.
• Developing PLC software, HMIs, vision systems, servo drives and more.
• Leading commissioning activities - including safety checks, I/O testing, function validation and performance optimisation.
• Supporting projects to ensure production and operational goals are achieved on time and within budget.
• Generating innovative control concepts and specifications for new and existing equipment.
• Providing technical expertise on machine design, costing and safety compliance.
