Cost Accounting Specialist

Job Description

(This role is a 12 months contract third party engagement) We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented accounting professional to join our finance team. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial closing, balance sheet reconciliations, and continuous process improvements in line with accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly and yearly financial closing activities in accordance with accounting standards
• Prepare income statement analysis and balance sheet schedules
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring aged items are properly analysed and explained
• Implement and execute accounting processes in line with the designed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Drive process improvements to address errors and close process gaps
