Credit Controller

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the full credit control function across national retail accounts
• Lead, mentor, and support a team of credit controllers to achieve collection targets
• Ensure timely and accurate collection of outstanding debt and resolution of claims
• Review, approve, and manage customer credit limits and ongoing risk exposure
• Oversee month‑end processes including statements, reconciliations, and debt reporting
• Manage returns, shortages, pricing claims, rebates, and promotional deductions
• Liaise with key internal departments to resolve account and process discrepancies
• Drive achievement of targeted Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
• Ensure compliance with relevant credit legislation and internal controls
• Provide forecasting and reporting on cash flow, AR balances, and performance metrics
