**Job Summary and Responsibilities**
We seek a highly motivated Critical Care Technician (CCT) to join our fast-paced Emergency Department. This essential full-time role supports patients, Registered Nurses, and the healthcare team by combining direct patient care with vital monitoring and administrative duties. The CCT ensures efficient workflow and contributes to exceptional patient outcomes in a high-acuity setting.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Direct Patient Care:** Perform and assist with ADLs, basic nursing care (e.g., vital signs, specimen collection), patient transport, and comfort measures under RN direction. Promptly respond to call lights and patient requests.
+ **Critical Monitoring:** Meticulously operate the central monitoring station, including admitting/discharging patients, assigning arrhythmia monitoring, adjusting alarm limits (RN directed), validating alarms, and printing/posting recordings. Proactively troubleshoot monitor issues ...
