Opportunity Description
EU Customs Tariff Management:
Daily monitoring, research, and interpretation of EU customs tariffs, duty rates, controls, and tariff measures from official sources (EUR-Lex, EU TARIC database, Official Journal).
Expert knowledge of EU Combined Nomenclature (CN) classification and alignment with World Customs Organization Harmonized System (HS) codes
Maintaining and validating an up-to-date, compliant database of EU tariffs and tariff measures (TME).
EU Customs Legal Regulation Framework:
Deep understanding of EU Customs Code (UCC) and delegated/implementing acts.
Knowledge of duty suspension and exemption regimes.
Interpretation of tariff measures.
EU Tariff Data Structure And Standards:
Expert knowledge of EU TARIC system architecture and data elements.
Understanding tariff nomenclature hierarchies (HS → Combined Nomenclature → national tariff lines).
