Opportunity Description
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor Degree in customs Administration, Logistics or related field.
3-5 years of experience as a declarant, cargo officer or similar role
Proficiency with Bureau of Customs electronic systems ( VASP, E2M, PIS, PEZA e-EADS) and MS office
Strong understanding of tariff classification, customs laws, and valuation principles.
High attention to detail, excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
A licensed Customs Broker is often preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review and submit accurate import/export Declaration, including invoices, packing lists and airway bills.
Classify goods using HS codes and calculate correct duties, taxes and fees.
Ensure strict adherence to customs regulations, permits, and licensing requirements.
Liaise with customs officials, shipping lines and airlines to facilitate the release of goods
