Data Center Operation support

·Perform hardware installations (rack / stack)and cable installations (routing, terminating, structured cabling), includingtroubleshooting and testing

·Also, perform hardware decommissions and cableremoval

·Coordinate DCS IT asset redundant powerrequirements with appropriate facilities staff to ensure proper load balanceand fail-over capacity to avoid cascading failures

·Prepare and coordinate incoming/outgoingshipments•

·Compare packing lists with purchase details toensure accurate make, model, and quantities are received and processed

·Perform remote hands support (. power cycles,physical environment, and cabling inspections, swap out failed components,hardware upgrades, testing of copper and fiber cables, handling storage media,and enter troubleshooting commands)

·Grant site access to vendors and/or escort 3rdparties requiring Data Center access for approved activities, and ensure theircompliance with site standards
