Data Center Technician / Day Shift

TEKsystems has a need for a Data Center Technician for our customer in South Denver/DTC for a 1 year+ W2 hourly contract opportunity.

*****Contractor MUST be willing to working Day Shift and Weekends .*********

Overview:
Will be helping manage daily data center technician duties during this shift.
**** Shift: Thu-Fri, 12pm-8pm & Sat-Sun, 8am-8pm ****

DUTIES:
Duties include walking facility; monitor alarms for issues with network, servers, wifi, hardware and escalate if needed; troubleshooting basic cable, server, hardware issues; support deliveries that arrive; move cable/reboot server if needed; manage alarms and escalate to on-call techs; any basic understanding of UPS/power generators/HVAC / facility systems would be ideal

Top Skills Details:

+ 3-5+ years experience in data centers or Co-Lo's

+ Technical experience within cabling, server install/troubleshooting, hardware fix/installs, rack/stack
