About the job Data Centre Design Specialist
- Bachelors degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the data center design industry with a proven track record of success.
Responsibilities:
- Develops data center design models and designs for companies.
- Develops power analysis, capacity calculation, and storage analysis models.
- Designs new data center racks, servers, and network layout.
- Documentation of data center designs, including floor plans, cable diagrams, power diagrams, and building acoustics.
- Assist with drafting the tender specification and documentation for the client's Data Centre rebuild and refurbishment project.
- Develop specifications for the rebuilding of two data centers including room design, cooling, fire suppression and detection, electrical reticulation, power, and environmental monitoring.
