Data Scientist

Job Purpose

Process the data and turn it into usable data products that are useful and meaningful to the business to uncover insights, patterns, and relationships from a labelled training dataset and produce an inferred function.

Accountabilities

Identify, assess and analyze relevant datasets along with Business Analysts in IT, Data Governance and Business Users. Perform and contribute to ongoing management of new and existing datasets in the Enterprise Data Hub for data analytics purposes. Design and upkeep explanatory data models. Produce predictive models (e.g., propensity, churn, response, cross-sell) and maintain plus evaluate models’ performance. Contribute to data strategy with Data Governance and Data & Analytics team. Conceptualize financial drivers of bank activities and translate them into quantitative systems using advanced analytics, including machine learning techniques.
