Database Systems Engineer

TCS is hiring SQL Database Administrator

Location: Kolkata

Experience: 2+

- SQL Server Administration (All versions).

- Strong knowledge of T-SQL scripting and automation.

- Experience in backup and restore strategies and administration.

- Performance tuning and query optimization expertise.

- High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HADR) implementation experience.

- Hands-on experience with Replication, Log Shipping, Clustering, and Always On Availability Groups.

- Understanding of Windows Server and networking fundamentals.

- Knowledge of Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, and RBAC for cloud environments.

- Experience in SQL Server side-by-side migrations and upgrade activities.

- Exposure to cloud-based database administration and monitoring tools.

- Familiarity with automation and scripting using PowerShell or similar tools.
