Demand Planner Midrand

Our Client is looking for an Independent Demand Planner / Buyer who is responsible for sourcing mainly finished goods from cGMP-compliant suppliers ensuring an uninterrupted supply of products at optimum prices by specifications.

Duties & Responsibilities

PRINCIPLE DUTIES

1. Building and maintaining good relationships with suppliers, establishing good working agreements and metrics.
2. Develop dual sources of cGMP compliant suppliers.
3. Generate RFPs, RFQs and negotiating of pricing and supply terms with suppliers.
4. Ordering of requirements as per planned master production schedule.
5. Execute MPS on the ERP System and follow up on Open Orders, expedite, highlight concerns, and update system.
6. Conduct spend analysis and lead cost saving initiatives.
7. Support the endeavours of the New Product Development Team to bring new products to Market.
