Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during patient procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment before and after use
• Take and develop X-rays as needed
• Prepare patients for dental exams and explain procedures to ease patient concerns
• Maintain patient records and update medical histories
• Educate patients on proper dental care and post-treatment instructions
• Schedule appointments and handle patient inquiries
• Monitor inventory and order supplies as necessary
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dental office and treatment areas

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Dental Assistant certification preferred)
• Previous experience in a dental office is a plus
