Job Description – Petroleum Products Terminal Operations Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

1. Terminal Operations
   • Supervise daily receipt, storage, blending and dispatch of petroleum products.
   • Coordinate vessel, pipeline, tank truck and rail loading/unloading operations.
   • Ensure proper line‑up of tanks, pumps, pipelines and manifolds.
   • Monitor tank inventories and product quality to maintain stock integrity.
   • Optimize terminal utilization and operational efficiency.
2. Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE)
   • Enforce compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
   • Conduct toolbox talks, safety inspections and risk assessments.
   • Ensure proper implementation of Permit‑to‑Work systems.
   • Coordinate emergency response and firefighting preparedness.
   • Investigate incidents, near misses and recommend corrective actions.
