Design Manager

Founded in 1978, Clark Contracts Ltd is a privately owned main contractor with several operating divisions; Construction, Fit Out, Refurbishment, Housing and Maintenance. We employ over 280 people with offices in the East and West of Scotland. Due to continued growth, we are now looking to recruit an experienced Design Manager to join the organisation. Role & Responsibilities The main duties will include but not be limited to: · Taking a leadership role in the management of the design process in our Design & Build Projects, ensuring that our appointed design consultants carry out their duties in line with their appointment. · The role will encompass input at both pre-construction and construction stage of a project. · Manage the design team, sub-contractors with design responsibility and the design development process and liaise with other departments and project teams within the company in respect to design requirements. · Ensure that design work undertaken is carried out in accordanc...
