DESIGN MANAGER

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• A master’s degree is often preferred for senior or specialized industries

Experience Requirements

• Several years leading engineering teams or projects
• Experience handling the full product lifecycle from concept to production
• 5+ years in mechanical design or product development

Technical Requirements

Strong knowledge of:

• Mechanical system and product design
• Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
• Design for Assembly (DFA)
• GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis
• Material selection and manufacturing methods
• FEA and simulation techniques
• Reliability and failure analysis
• Industry standards and compliance
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
