The Developer Platforms Specialist sits within IT Services at AtkinsRéalis and plays a pivotal role in enabling safe, scalable and high-quality software delivery across the organisation. The role acts as the technical steward and authority for AtkinsRéalis developer platforms and tooling, ensuring they are governed, secure, well-integrated and aligned to modern engineering practices. By defining clear platform standards, lifecycle controls and operational models, the role enables engineering teams to deliver faster and with confidence, while maintaining compliance, resilience and cost discipline. Working closely with engineering, Digital, Innovation and IT teams, the role bridges platform strategy and hands‑on execution, ensuring that developer platforms evolve in line with business needs and that adoption translates into measurable improvements in developer experience, delivery throughput and operational stability.
