Your Opportunity

The Diagnostic Sonographer I position at Alberta Children’s Hospital operates in the specialized, highly technical environment of Ultrasound. The Sonographer I under limited supervision assesses patients, analyzes and interprets diagnostic data, and provides information to the Radiologist to assist in diagnosis, clinical intervention and patient management. Your work may include a variety of procedures such as general and pediatric vascular Ultrasound, as well as specialized imaging such as Bowel, Hip, Spine, Brain and Intussusception diagnosing as required. These services are performed in an effective productive and safe manner. As a member of the Diagnostic Imaging team this position is responsible for working all shifts and on-call as assigned.
