- The Occupational Therapy Director is responsible for the clinical oversight of the Occupational Therapy Department staff.
- Director oversees and coordinates the clinical education and competency process for the Occupational Therapy staff, including direct supervision of certified Occupational Therapy assistants (COTAs) and Rehabilitation Technicians.
- The Director ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and professional standards.
- The role includes oversight of Occupational Therapy policy and procedure manual addressing scope of care, evaluation/treatment standards, discharge planning and documentation.
