Director of Technology (Remote, Contract)

Job Overview

INFUSE is looking for someone who will lead INFUSE’s technology function, scaling a high-performing engineering organization while delivering secure, AI‑native products on a modern stack.

Responsibilities

• Own the technology strategy and execution roadmap across backend and frontend, ensuring delivery predictability, quality, and performance.
• Lead and develop engineering leaders and teams (hiring, onboarding, goal setting, performance management, coaching, and career ladders).
• Drive architecture and engineering standards for our stack: Node.js (latest LTS), NestJS, pnpm, esbuild on the backend; React, Vue 3, Vite, pnpm on the frontend (with strong typing practices and modern engineering standards).
• Build an AI‑native engineering culture: identify and deliver high‑impact AI use cases, set patterns for safe AI adoption, and define developer workflows for rapid iteration with appropriate governance.
