Disability Support Worker

About the Role

Support people with disability living in Supported Independent Living homes in Arncliffe and Gymea who are looking for someone with experience in providing personal care, stoma care and manual handling to provide them active day to day support.

The successful candidate will follow active support plans and participate in activities of interest which will include transport to day programs, going to the movies and going shopping. In order to transport the clients, the successful candidate must be confident in driving a wheelchair van.

The successful candidate must be able to commit to one of the below set permanent part time rosters:

48 hours per fortnight:

• Week 1: Mon 6 – 9:30am, Tues 6 – 10:30am, Wed 7am – 2pm, Fri 6 – 9:30am, Sat 3 – 8pm, Sun 11pm – 9am (Active)


• Week 2: Tues & Wed 6 – 9:30am, Thurs 7am ...
