District Medical Director - Mental Health

ME Medical Recruitment is currently recruiting for a District Medical Director of Mental Health – Mid North Coast NSW – Full time permanent position

The Medical Director will be clinically responsible for all inpatient and ambulatory-based mental health and alcohol and other drugs services in the network.

What you'll be doing

For District Integrated Mental Health, Alcohol & Other Drugs Services (IMHAOD) the position will:

·       Provide clinical leadership and will be responsible for overseeing of clinical policies and guidelines.

·       Develop strategies to minimise clinical risk and ensure quality and safety protocols are maintained.

·       In collaboration with Director Integrated Mental Health, Alcohol & Other Drugs (IMHAOD), develop and monitor both the strategic and business plans, financial plans and workforce plans.
