Doctoral Researcher, product-centric operating models in industrial contexts (CoDoc Model)

Overview

Wärtsilä and the University of Vaasa collaborate on a joint doctoral program focused on product operating models and the green transition. The doctoral researcher will contribute to Wärtsilä’s product development while producing scientific research.

Responsibilities

As an industrial doctoral researcher you will work closely with Wärtsilä Energy Technology to maintain the research relevance for industry and address real‑world challenges. Co‑supervision will be provided by subject‑matter experts at Wärtsilä, and research outcomes will be pressure‑tested in real‑world applications. All tasks will be specified in the Annual Work Plan; the annual working time is 1 612 hours.
