Opportunity Description
Responsibilities
- Supervise installation of GI ducting, insulation, and accessories (VCD, FD, access panels, etc.)
- Coordinate with main contractor, and other trades (electrical, plumbing, fire protection)
- Plan daily work activities and manpower deployment
- Ensure work progresses according to project schedule
- Interpret drawings, shop drawings, and coordination drawings (BIM if applicable)
- Ensure duct sizing, routing, and supports comply with specifications
- Check installation aligns with SS 553 / SMACNA / DW144 standards
- Verify proper installation of insulation, sealants, and hangers
- Conduct inspections for duct fabrication and installation quality
- Ensure airtightness, proper jointing, and finishing
- Prepare and submit inspection checklists and reports
