Opportunity Description
Job Summary: Echocardiograph Technologist (Full-Time, Day Shift), Sign-On Bonus ($6000)
- Perform cardiac ultrasound examinations as per physician's orders using complex ultrasound equipment.
- Identify the presence or absence of disease with a thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Assist physicians with invasive echocardiography exams including transesophageal echo, trans-catheter echo-guided procedures, pericardiocentesis, myocardial biopsies, contrast-enhanced exams, and stress echocardiography.
- Modify procedures to meet special circumstances or provide useful clinical information cost-effectively.
- Comply with standards set by the American Society of Echocardiography and departmental policies.
- Share coverage responsibility for emergency stand-by and call-back studies during evenings and weekends.
