Electrical Design Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a well‑established, specialist provider to the Marine sector, based in Central Scotland. This role offers end‑to‑end involvement across the full project lifecycle, including electrical hardware control panel design, PLC integration, final testing and commissioning, and the production of high‑quality technical documentation, all within a collaborative, project‑driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Development of electrical panels containing PLCs, LV modular distribution systems incorporating MCCs, transformers or switchboards.
• Involvement throughout the whole lifecycle, from design, coding, testing, installation and configuration to documentation, working through full QA procedures.
