Electrical Design Engineer

Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to take responsibility for planning, coordinating, and delivering high-quality electrical designs as part of a broader engineering process.

Requirements / Experience:

• Bachelor of Engineering Technology / Technical Diploma, or equivalent NQF qualification in Electrical Engineering
• ECSA Professional registration is advantageous but not essential
• Must have operational and design experience (inclusive of relevant design program exposure)
• Exposure to the mining industry and industrial plant environments
• Solid understanding of international electrical and instrumentation standards
• Knowledge of SANS standards, as well as the Mine Health & Safety Act and Occupational Health & Safety
• Familiarity with PLC and SCADA systems
