Job Summary
Join Our Team as an Electrical PLC / Control Specialist at Johnson Electric. Location: Ancaster, ON (Onsite). Facility: PMDA. Department: Maintenance. Salary Range: $85K-105K annually. Vacancy Type: Existing Position.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designs, develops and implements control systems programs including PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, ControlLogix)
- Programs HMI and servo systems
- Develops robotics and automation systems
- Integrates electrical systems
- Coordinates and supervises machine startups and process launch
- Designs control panels, wiring diagrams and BOMs
- Troubleshoots electrical systems (up to 575 V, wiring, fuses, etc.)
- Understands WonderWare software
- Instructs maintenance personnel on use, functionality and programming of automation systems
- Mentors licensed electricians in PLC programming and troubleshooting
