ELEMENTARY COUNSELOR 26-27 SY

Job Goal:

Classroom guidance, special education coordinator for building referrals, testing coordinator for assigned building, parent conferences, teacher consultations, community/school relations and awareness, crisis counseling, career counseling and referrals to outside agencies.

Contract: One hundred eighty six (186) contract days / temporary contract.

Salary: District scale (based on 180 days) + 5 additional days and $1,620 counselor stipend.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Master of Arts degree in counseling, two years or more teaching experience, Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Valid Oklahoma teaching certificate with counseling endorsement.
