Elementary Probationary Teachers

The successful candidate

s will be a specialist in teaching reading and writing or mental math. Class sizes range from 20-22 students and campuses range from 300-850 students. As part of a dynamic and growing team, successful applicants will: Deliver engaging, structured lessons aligned with AACS’s direct instruction model and a strong emphasis on academic rigour. Exhibit excellent classroom management skills by creating a structured learning environment that fosters student confidence, accountability, and high achievement. Integrate Indigenous perspectives into teaching and classroom practice in meaningful ways. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of instruction, contribute to school-wide initiatives, and uphold shared expectations. Build positive relationships with students and families, promoting a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom.
