About the Role
Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, MidCentral District's Emergency Department is an Australasian Level 4 regional trauma centre with approximately 55,000 presentations per annum. It is a mixed, Non-Major Referral ED and is Tier 2 accredited for 24 months of training under the revised Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) training programme. It is also accredited for Training Stage 4 (TS4). Our ED sees a large volume of trauma and high acuity paediatric and adult medical patient presentations. You can expect regular exposure to numerous critical procedures and a vast range of complex pathology.
