Salary: €217’325 - 261’051 per annum We are currently seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Consultant to join our committed team in Waterford. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our Emergency Department. Clinical Responsibilities: Lead the clinical management of critically ill or injured patients requiring resuscitation in the Emergency Department. Deliver primary clinical care for individuals seeking treatment in the Emergency Department. Evaluate and treat patients during review clinic appointments. Assess and manage patients admitted to the Clinical Decision Unit and Chest Pain Assessment Unit. Formulate evidence-based Clinical Care Guidelines to promote best practices. Utilise Evidence-Based Medicine to guide decisions regarding the initiation or cessation of medical therapies, medications, interventions, or procedures for Emergency Department patients.
