Job Description

As part of the CAD Methodology team, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing EDA tools and design flows that enable Microchip to deliver best-in-class semiconductor products—optimized for power, performance, area, and quality—using cutting‑edge implementation methodologies and industry‑leading commercial software tools. Microchip designs products for a wide range of end markets and technologies, including some of the most advanced transistor processes available today.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with an experienced design methodology team to build a robust scripting infrastructure that improves the qualification strategy for commercial EDA tools used in digital IC design.
• Understand success criteria for various steps and tools in the design flow, then develop automation scripts to validate tool behavior across diverse test scenarios.
