Responsibilities
- Establish and improve process condition and technology.
- Upgrade process capability and reduce production cost.
- Establish and modify process management projects.
- Evaluate, promote and plan new equipment/materials.
- Perform abnormal analysis and improvement.
- Maximize yield by working on tools, the process, or wafer fabrication recipes.
- Troubleshoot wafer fabrication problems and perform root‑cause analysis.
- Work with other process areas to understand and control process deviations.
- Conduct long‑term investigations of defect issues requiring extensive work with shift engineering and other functional areas.
- Evaluate products to ensure they meet required design and performance specifications.
- Conduct research to assess process adjustment requirements and recommend process improvements or equipment changes needed to efficiently manufacture new product or part types. ...
