Opportunity Description
AECOM is seeking a motivated Hydrologic & Hydraulic Engineer to deliver innovative sustainable surface-water wet-utility and flood-management solutions across our global infrastructure portfolio. Reporting to a Senior/Principal H&H Lead you will undertake hydrologic modelling hydraulic design technical reporting and multi-disciplinary coordination.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver 1D/2D surface-water drainage and flood studies from concept through detailed design.
- Develop calibrate and run hydrologic & hydraulic models (HEC-RAS HEC-HMS SWMM WMS InfoWorks ICM etc.) for surface-drainage piped networks and cross-drainage structures.
- Conduct rainfall runoff meteorological and water-balance analyses to inform design criteria.
- Prepare detailed designs for potable-water sewerage stormwater irrigation and firefighting networks (using WaterGEMS SewerGEMS FlowMaster CulvertMaster HY-8 and related tools).
