Engineering Support

The Engineering Support Assistant (ESA) is an integral member of the product development team, collaborating closely with R&D engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and planning teams. Responsibilities focus on addressing logistical challenges from initial prototyping through ramp-up to volume production for new designs, as well as supporting the ongoing sustainment of existing product designs.



Core Job Responsibilities

" Assists the Project Manager in achieving project deadlines and milestones

" Communicates with the entire project team to facilitate project goals and initiatives

" Identifies procurement needs and mitigates risks such as lead times and part availability

" Creates new part numbers and symbols for use in designs and maintains the Bill of Materials (BOM) for products in NI s PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)
