The Electrophysiology Tech performs specialized cardiovascular procedures in the Electrophysiology Laboratory (EP), including but not limited to: records hemodynamic pressures and computerized data, operates special X-Ray equipment, burns .’s, assists the invasive/interventional cardiologist with procedures using sterile technique and has knowledge of cardiac medications


  • Reports for scheduled shift on time and prepared to assume responsibilities.
  • Attends and participates in meetings and is responsible for information.
  • Adheres to Corporate, Regional, Hospital and Departmental policy and procedure 100% of the time.

    • EDUCATION:

    Minimum:

  • Graduate of accredited program in Radiology Technology, or Equivalent or
  • Graduate of accredited Cardiovascular Invasive program or equivalent (CCI/CVT) or
  • Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program
