Position Overview

Perform a variety of tasks involving equipment, operating and/or physical labor in heavy civil construction and demolition sites. Operates construction equipment such as excavator, bulldozer, dozer, motor grader, backhoe, roller compactor, skid steer. The Operator must be able to do daily mechanical checks to report any safety issue to the supervisor. The Equipment Operator keeps the equipment clean and grease daily the equipment, and in good working order. Equipment Operator supports the Superintendent and Project Manager; while maintaining a commitment to safety, keeping the worksite clean and orderly, and performing as a team player. The Equipment Operator receives from the Superintendent and or Project Manager (dependent on whom they are assigned) the direction to perform all tasks.
