IMDEA Water is a non‑profit research institute promoted by the Regional Government of Madrid, dedicated to water technologies. It is part of the IMDEA network, which combines public and private support.

A position is open for an established researcher (R3) within the Membrane Technology group.

The selected candidate will lead an externally funded research program focused on membrane treatments for water treatment, purification and reuse. The role also includes coordination duties within the group and representation at outreach and scientific events.

Research Focus

• Water treatment for drinking water, wastewater, and reuse in human consumption, industry, agriculture, environment, aquifer recharge.
• Commercial and emerging membrane technologies: reverse osmosis, nanofiltration, ultrafiltration, microfiltration, electrodialysis, pervaporation, membrane distillation, capacitive deionization.
