Wests Illawarra Hospitality Group (Aster Group) operates Wests Illawarra and Port Kembla Golf Club, and is one of the region’s most established and influential hospitality organisations.

Employing approximately 200 people across hospitality, gaming, events and leisure operations, the organisation combines commercial strength with deep community connection.

Under the leadership of CEO Danny Munk, Wests Illawarra continues to strengthen its position within the NSW Clubs sector. Danny is active across ClubsNSW and the Illawarra Zone and was recent recipient of Leadership Voice Award at the Regulating the Game Global Awards 2026, recognising leaders who influence reform and strengthen industry capability.
