Experienced Baker

Bakers Delight Mernda Town Centre is seeking an experienced Baker to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing, producing, baking, and finishing a range of bread, rolls, pastries, and other flour-based products in line with recipes, production schedules, and quality standards.

Key Duties

• Prepare and produce bread, rolls, pastries, and related flour-based products.
  
• Measure, mix, knead, shape, mould, cut, and prove doughs.
  
• Operate commercial bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, proofers, and moulders.
  
• Monitor baking times, temperatures, product quality, colour, texture, and consistency.
  
• Check raw ingredients and finished products to ensure quality and freshness.
  
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic work area in line with food safety standards.
