Experienced Medical Laboratory Technologist Needed

Interior Health is on the lookout for an experienced Medical Laboratory Technologist to enhance our team at Elk Valley Hospital in Fernie, B.C. This full-time role focuses on patient care and varied laboratory tasks.
In this position, you'll engage in routine and complex laboratory testing, working within a supportive team environment. Key tasks include specimen collection, data management, and contributing to fast-paced lab operations. As a technologist, adhering to established procedures and safety standards is paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic tests using advanced lab techniques
• Collect, process, and store patient specimens
• Enter and validate laboratory data accurately
• Maintain and operate lab instruments methodically
