Experienced PA or FNP - ED Memorial Hospital

UPMC Memorial is hiring a Full-Time Physician Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to help support our Memorial Emergency Dept.

*The ideal candidate has 2 years' experience working in the ER.*

Hours: 80 hours biweekly. 10-hour shifts 

Location: Innovation Drive, , York PA, will also travel to UPMC Hanover

Position Specifics: BLS, ACLS, PALS certified. Prefer to be ATLS certified 
Competencies: laceration repairs, I&Ds, foreign body removal, reduction/splinting. Willingness to do higher acuity procedures including intubations, chest tubes, lumbar punctures, etc. 

Department Details: 26 bed ER with behavioral health pod, PIT area that is staffed daily acting as the provider in triage. 4 Physicians and 5 APP shifts. York county ER (community hospital) with Monday-Thursday, 3 Physicians and 6 APPs Friday-Saturday. Sick patients, high % of admissions...
