Opportunity Description
Overview
The Clinical Instructor will teach in the undergraduate program in Manhattan, NY at a clinical site with 8-9 students with an emphasis on the care of a patient within the psychiatric/medical-surgical patient population. Clinical instructors are expected to be available for all clinical assignments once scheduled during the semester. Clinicals can be held in any of the five boroughs.
Responsibilities
+ Complete facility orientation prior to the start of clinical
+ Create patient assignments prior to the start of the clinical day
+ Supervise students in all aspects of care of patients/clients
+ Review and provide feedback for all written clinical assignments
+ Submit grades for assignments as directed by course coordinator
+ Provide weekly feedback to students in the clinical area
+ Complete midterm/final clinical evaluations
+ Plan instructional activities for pre/post co...
